ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
The annual registration fee is $15 per child.  This registration fee covers our main session, September through June.

TUITION
Tuition is a yearly fee broken down into 10 monthly installments.  Monthly payments are due by the 1st of the month with a $15 late fee assessed for payments made after the 10th of the month.  We now accept VISA AND MASTERCARD!

For 2010-2011 tuition prices please call 609-545-0980

MISSED CLASSES
Any missed classes may be made up in a similar class within one month of the absence.  We Do Not Refund or Pro-Rate Tuition for Missed Classes.  Excessive absence, especially just prior to recital, is strongly discouraged.  Any student missing more than 6 classes without making up the missed work may be pulled from the recital.

TARDINESS
As a courtesy to the instructor and the rest of the class, please wait outside the door until the music stops and then enter quietly.  We understand that being late is sometimes unavoidable for all of us.  However, being more than five minutes late for class may mean being asked to observe rather than take class.  The final decision is at the discretion of the instructor.  This is not a disciplinary measure but rather is done with the student's best interests in mind - especially where higher level classes are concerned.  A student who misses the first few exercises of class runs the risk of injury by not being properly warmed up for class.  Please make sure that the student understands this- we have this policy because we care about their welfare.

ETIQUETTE
No chewing gum.  No food or drinks in the classroom at any time.   Cell phones are to be turned off or set to silent during all classes.  Respect should be shown to the instructors, staff and fellow students at all times.  Respect should also be shown to the property of others and to the SDA studio and equipment.  Misconduct is not expected, nor will it be tolerated.

WITHDRAWL
You may withdraw from any or all classes at any time by submitting a withdrawal form to us no later than the 1st of the month.  If a withdrawal form is not received by the 1st of the month, you are obligated to continue paying tuition and late fees until the form in turned in.  We Do Not Refund tuition payments.

CLASS EVALUATION
Evaluation is done by instructors. Please no phone calls regarding the classes your child is placed in. The first month of classes is an evaluation month. If necessary, a student’s class placement may change, but is only done at the discretion of the Studio Director.

DRESS CODE
Part of the discipline of dance is coming to class, prepared and in the proper attire.  We believe our dress code improves the quality of our students’ education. By making the students’ uniform, we can clearly see student’s bodies and therefore make more accurate corrections regarding movements and positions.  The dress code for Starstruck Dance Academy will be strictly enforced.  Students who are not dressed according to the dress code with be asked to sit out.

  •  Combo 1 and Combo 2 Classes
Any style leotard, tights and hair pulled back away from face
  • ALL Level 1 - Level 5 Classes
Black Leotard, tights and hair pulled back in a secured bun with bobby pins and a hair net. A ponytail alone is not sufficient if hair can still swing into face; hair must be securely clipped to the head off the face.  All students are to wear their hair in a bun.
